anchoring to text in an included file
Hello
I've put a link in template to some text in file "cfincluded" in that
template, using a link to an anchor. It won't work using <a href="#myanchor">.
Is there away to achieve the link, please?
Thanks very much.

Re: anchoring to text in an included file
That actually will work.
The thing to remember is that the cfinclude doesn't make any difference. Only the resulting HTML matters for anchor links.

Re: anchoring to text in an included file
The thing to remember in any .cfm file is that the # symbol has special
significance. In your case, to have the anchor symbol treated correctly, you'd
need to double escape the # symbol so it becomes:
<a href="##myanchor">
CF will then handle it correctly and the generated html will contain the
correct anchor link.
cheers.
