Animate text around object
Can't get this turorial to work. I see examples everywhere, but my
final outcome does not work. Here is the example:
http://www.swishzone.com/swi/Text-Around-Logo-With-Shadow.swf
and here is the tutorial:
http://www.cbtcafe.com/flash/3dtext/3dtext.html
THe text does not rotate on a plane (along the path) instead it just
spins in clockwise. How can I get the text to rotate like in the
example? Arrgghh! Please help?

Show us what you've done so far, it's difficult to diagnose where you're
going wrong without that.

Re: Animate text around object
Ok, here are some examples I made. Basic without the objects, but this
is what I am trying to get. This one is the text in the clockwise
rotation:
http://www.perpetualgalleries.com/tutorial/clockwise.swf
And then i try to add the 'free transform' to get the 3d plane effect,
and I get this:
http://www.perpetualgalleries.com/tutorial/rotate.swf
And as you know I want the text to follow the path such as in the
example seen in:
http://www.swishzone.com/swi/Text-Around-Logo-With-Shadow.swf
What I did: I created the tween on the text path. It is rotating
clockwise...good. Then I go to keyframe 1 and do the free transform.
Then it is beyond me how they do this. How the heck do you keep the
text rotating on the path after it is transformed.
Also, I followed the tutorial to a 'T' and something must be missing? I
am using Flash MX, and this was the 'only' tutorial I can find on the
web:
http://www.cbtcafe.com/flash/3dtext/3dtext.html
Please help? What can I do to get the effect to work.
