Animated Gif very poor quality
Hi,
I am using Swish to produce my movie and then exporting it to flash. I then
import it into Flash MX and save the movie as an Animated Gif but the
quality drops so much that it looks terrible, especially when I compare it
to the original flash.
Can I change any settings to try and up the image quality a bit when it is
exported as an Animated Gif?
I am exporting as a gif instead of leaving it as a flash movie only because
I want it to be a link and I can't seem to work out how to make the whole of
a flash movie a link.
Any thoughts on both these points would be most appreciated.
Cheers
Lenny

Re: Animated Gif very poor quality
Maybe try exporting from SWiSH as an AVI, and then using a (free) AVI->GIF
tool (I'm sure I've seen a few of these around). That may give you a better
result.

button (hit state only) over the entire stage and assigning it a getURL
behavior. That would retain all your quality and the swf format.
(Animated gifs are still limited to 256 colors)
