Web Publisher rivals are WebStudio, or Macromedia Dreamweaver.

Web Publisher take advantage of, to Ruby technorogies for html
doument generation.

I got an error message from the HTML Preview view: "an error has
occurred when creating this view".

Eclipse 2.1.2
Windows XP Pro

Should I worry?

Ok - still having problems.

Eclipse 2.1.2
WinXP Pro
Amrita 1.0.2
RDT 0.3.2
Ruby 1.8.0

The 1.8 interpreter is installed and working.

I get a popup error when I try to configure Web Publishing under
"Preferences". It says:

Unable to create the selected preference page.

Reason:
Plug-in "com.narucy.webpub.ui" was unable to instantiate class
"com.narucy.webpub.ui.preferences.PublishPreferenc ePage".

Any ideas?

Sorry, I'm not understand that cause.

Please distribute error log (eclipse install folder
putted file hs_err_pid???.log or View of PDE Runtime > Error Log
content lines to [url]http://sourceforge.jp/projects/webpub/forums/[/url].
