Annoying Text Field behaviour
Why oh why does Macromedia have to make the current text field cursor point
spring to the top of the viewing area. I use Freehand to visually design, I
don't want the page springing around while I am typing. It hides what you have
just typed and ruins the flow of typing.
It is a very Annoying feature and if it could be turned off does any one know
how??

Re: Annoying Text Field behaviour
Ellliot,
There are a couple of things you could try.
1) Turn off the option in the Text Preferences for "New text containers
auto-expand".
2) Instead of doing a simple click of the mouse to start a new text block
you could click and drag to define the area of the text block.
I might suggest that you read more about the Auto-Expanding text container
feature in the FreeHand online documentation. This would allow you to
identify the best use of this feature.
