Another Form Question - Macromedia ColdFusion

I have a form with a filed like this: <cfinput name="ProjectRootDirectory" type="file" size="50"> Note that the field is supposed to be a Directory, not a File. But, I can only select files. Does anyone know of a CF component or something that will allow you to select the Directory? Thanks,...

I have a form with a filed like this:

    <cfinput name="ProjectRootDirectory" type="file" size="50">

Note that the field is supposed to be a Directory, not a File. But, I can only
    select files.

Does anyone know of a CF component or something that will allow you to select
    the Directory?

    Thanks,

so you want your users to be able to upload a whole directory?

No, there's nothing that provides this functionality. All <cfform> and
<cfinput..> tags just generate HTML tags, and there's no HTML form field that
supports uploading a directory (just single files).

Actually, the application yzes CFML code for security holes. Currently it
looks for XSS, SQL Injection, Forced Browsing and Parameter Tampering. It
recursively scans all CFML files in the RootDirectory including Sub
Directories. Hence, the need to select a Directory. It is working now by
pointing to a file in the RootDirectory, then srtipping off the file name. But
I was hoping for something a tad bit cleaner.

It is currently in the ALPHA stage, but I am getting good results so far. I
know it won't catch everything and it will never be a substitute for Grey-Box
and Black-Box Pen Testing, but it is a start. I ran a test today and it pd
202,000 lines of code in 10-12 seconds and stored the results in an MS-SQL
Database. It caught about 80% of the problems that I know of.
    Quite cool stuff - IMO...

Thanks for you comments on the INPUT tags, I was hoping that there was some
custom component out there that did what I want. Looks like I will have to
build it myself if I don't find one.

    Have a good one,
