Another Mysql 4.1 and CFusion DSn error issue
I have followed the instructions on getting this to work.
I installed the .jar file in C:\CFusionMX\wwwroot\WEB-INF\lib
This is the .jar file name: mysql-connector-java-3.0.16-ga-bin.jar
I went to the CFM Admin and selected the - Java and JVM Settings page.
This is the Class path I entered there:
C:\CFusionMX\wwwroot\WEB-INF\lib\mysql-connector-java-3.0.16-ga-bin.jar
the info i am using for the DSN setup:
Selected Other for the Driver-
JDBC URL: jdbc:mysql://localhost/fairfares
Driver Class: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
I have entered the valid username and password.
here is the error I am getting.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Connection verification failed for data source: fairfaresdata
[]java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
The root cause was that: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I need help. This is driving me mad.

Re: Another Mysql 4.1 and CFusion DSn error issue
Have you verified your server can resolve 'localhost'? Also you may try to add
the port on which MySQL is set up to listen on, ie
jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/fairfares. The database must also exist ofcourse.
If this doesn't help re-check the path to the .jar etc.
