Default Any Good Books on Photoshop Elements?

Are there any highly recommended books on using Photoshop Elements? (Maybe a "Not-So-Down & Not-So-Dirty Tricks"?)

    Thx, Mike

I would add Photoshop Elements2 by Phillip Andrews. It's very good from a beginners point of view.

Dick, re the Andrews book: I agree - I have the PE1 version and it's quite
    good. Chuck

    Chuck,

The new edition for PSE2 is even better. Better illustrations and practice images.

    Mike,

I asked the same question a week or so ago. I first bought PSE2 by Aaland and began using it. I found out that it's not really a beginners book, per se., so I bought PSE2 For Dummies and I found it so far to be very helpful for a beginner, such as myself.

Your mileage may vary though ;-].

I'm a fan of the Hidden Power book because now I don't have to buy Photoshop -- like my daughter was bugging me! There's free tools to try <http://hiddenelements.com>

Chuck, since you're here: that batch stuff works for me, thanks! I don't use all of that stuff, but sharpen is one I can use all the time.

I originally had the Dummies book and flat outgrew it. Depends on where you start. As a (way) amature picture-taker for a long time, Dummies was too easy after not very long. Haven't seen the Phillips book.

Although I've been taking pictures for a very long time, I never developed them myself (well, okay a little in the 80's). The PSE2 for Dummies has proved invaluable. It touches on everything that PSE2 can do, so that even when I am reading another PSE2 book, I can refer to the Dummies book for a refresher if I can't remember the function being discussed.
