Anybody know how to do this?

I need to submit a form to an external website yet NOT follow browser focus to
that site. Sort of like spinning off a separate
process and continuing on my way within our site. It has to be immmediate and
reliable.

I can't figure out how to accomplish this. I've tried a few things but am
getting nowhere. Can anyone suggest an approach to shake me loose on this?
