AO Poster size and jagged text
Hi
Okay, I gotta go and talk to this guy who makes posters in AO size (1189mm x
841mm)
He is adamant about text having smooth edges when it is blown up to that
size. I did a few A4 pages and made text which I converted paths and they
still have slightly jagged edges.
Can anyone fill me in on the secret of non-jagged text?
I'm not really a print person so would appreciate it if you spelt it out for
me.
Cheers
Martin

Re: AO Poster size and jagged text
If the text is converted to paths, has no raster effects, and is never
converted to pixels in anyway then the limitation is only on the output
of the printer. If you are seeing jagged edges on the print from pure
vector information then it is the best the printer can do with it's
current settings.

Re: AO Poster size and jagged text
Are you using a Postscript printer?
PostScript printers are more expensive but better.
