    Default Applying color to groups

In previous versions of FreeHand was possible to change the color of a group without ungrouping, seems to me that now this is not possible, or may be it is but I don't know how. Any help?

Default Re: Applying color to groups

Freehand MX? I would guess that is the version that is driving you crazy. It
still drives me crazy but you have two options:

    1) Apply attributes to the group as a whole
    2) Subselect to apply attributes to parts of the group.

Neither is a very good solution but if the elements of the group all share
attributes it becomes easier. You can either double-click the "contents" entry
in the object panel to select all the elements of the group, set up the
"subselect" tool icon in a panel to click or assign a keyboard shortcut to
subselect. Then you can edit the group's elements (unless there is a sub-group
in the group in which case keep clicking the "subselect" method of choice.)
