Default Applying text box attributes to newly pasted in text

How do I forcefully apply 'text box attributes' to newly pasted in text.
The settings are this font, & upper case but I end up with that font & other
case.

If the text is formatted prior to the paste, it will keep it. If you want to
change it to the field attributes, choose paste without style (Cmd+Option+V
on a Mac)

If you are typing or pasting into a field and you want FileMaker to
automatically correct the data format within that same field, you should
search in the tips section of http://www.databasepros.com for 'phone
format', which is an only slightly complicated technique for replacing
just-changed field contents with something else.

I recall having read some where that this could be achieved using the
replace.
Actually , that's it. Replace with a calculated value, the value being JUST
the field that is in question, ie, Field 'A' replace with the contents of
field 'A'.

Hi TuneRaider,

Sorry, I was talking about catching it before pasting. To can change
attributes of already pasted text with the wrong attributes, use the
Replace, put your cursor in the field to be changed, and then go to Menu -
Records - Replace (Cmd = on a Mac), choose Replace by Calculation, in the
Calculation box you can just the field for changing it to the layout
attributes, or select a new attribute from the list of Text Functions to be
applied to your fields, click Okay, and then Replace.
