Apps mysteriously not appearing in Dock
I noticed this once a couple weeks ago when I started Fink Commander and
then couldn't find it in the Dock. Having no idea what caused it, I
ultimately decided to restart, and the problem disappeared.
Well, it's just happened again, this time with with Toast Titanium. So
I tried Fink Commander and sure enough, it won't appear in the Dock
either. I'm surmising that certain programs will exhibit this problem.
But I'd really like to know -- anybody got an idea what could be behind
this so that I might take steps to prevent it from recurring? It's
annoying, to say the least, since failure to appear in the Dock also
means I can't use the usual Command-Tab to switch apps as I usually do.
