Default apt-get upgrade Packages Held Back

    hello!

i noticed that openoffice.org2 has been in the repositories for a few days
now. however, the software has been held back.

    my question is:
why does software get held back?
    that's all! thanks a lot!

This is usually because the package requires the removal of another package.
To get it to install use "sudo apt-get -u dist-upgrade". Pay careful
attention to the list of things the new packages want to remove/update and
    if you're happy, answer yes.

    Cheers,
