art gallery script/s?

I'm looking for a script where artists can join and then post their artworks
onto specific gallery pages i.e. once they join they have control over
'their' galleries via direct uploading of images. However the number of
images they can have on at any one time can be limited. I'm anticipating the
setup would be a php/mysql setup but not sure how to proceed.

Can anyone point me in the direction of either a suitable script/s or a site
that has this type of set up.
