    Art,

I have tried your stored procedure ratios but....

    a) I added it to my own database not sysmaster...so queries like
    select...from sysprofile
    had to be changed to
    select...from sysmaster:sysprofile
    b) I got error -1226 (something like decimal overflow...).

enabling tracing got an error about needed to set debug file..but I
    can't remember
    the syntax...help!

If you are running 9.xx on a busy system, change all of the DECIMAL(10,2)
variables to DECIMAL(20,2) and all of the INTEGER variables to INT8 or
DECIMAL(20). That will solve the problem you are seeing. I have updated my
own copy of the procedure in this way. Also if you do not have to support
7.xx instances also, you can add the return value column names to the
RETURNING clause to identify the results.

That should be DECIMAL(20,2) for older decimal(10,2) and DECIMAL(20,0) or
    INT8 for any INTEGER variables.
