ASP.net in other framework
hie, i would like to know whether do i need to use
the "Imports" statement in my webapplication when i create
a component in another application. i know we do not need
to do any importing when we are doing asp.net in visual
studio.net. But if i were to use other framework apart
from .net, would i need to use the "import" statement so
that i would be able to reference the component's function
in my webapplication(different application)?
thanx 4 the time!

Re: ASP.net in other framework
this question really doesn't make sense. when you're referring to
'another framework' what exactly do you mean? it sounds like you might
mean an editor from your last sentence???
I mean, by definition if you're writing an ASP.NET app you're using the
..NET framework. that's the way it is.

Re: ASP.net in other framework
Hi,
First you always need to make a reference to the library that you want
to use and that’s all!
Import(vb)/using(c#) are just for convenience. Instead of typing the
full class names (including name spaces) import/using let you use just
the class name. The reason that some classes can be write down without
using namespace is that the development tool automatically append some
Import/Using statement.
