ASP newbie help! - Take 2 - ASP Database

Sincere apologies to the repliers who read and replied to my previous effort. It was late at night and I clearly hadn't put down all the required information. I am getting the following error: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005' [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]General error Unable to open registry key 'Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process 0xc60 Thread 0x860 DBC 0xced2d34 Jet'. /vote_db.asp, line 33 I presume it is a path problem because the help file says that the asp file and db must be in the same directory. Sincere apologies to the repliers who read and replied to my previous
    effort. It was late at night and I clearly hadn't put down all the
    required information.

    I am getting the following error:

    Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

    [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]General error Unable to open
    registry key 'Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process 0xc60 Thread
    0x860 DBC 0xced2d34 Jet'.

    /vote_db.asp, line 33

    I presume it is a path problem because the help file says that the asp
    file and db must be in the same directory. But my ISP is setup so that
    the db files must go in a folder called 'db' and the asp file must go
    in a folder called 'WWW'

    If my assumptions are correct how do I amend the following script to
    allow for the files being in the above folders.

    accessdb="votes_db"
    cn="driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};"
    cn=cn & "dbq=" & server.mappath(accessdb)
    set rs = server.createobject("ADODB.Recordset")
    sql = "select ip from ballot where ip ='" & u_ip & "'"

    rs.Open sql, cn !!!!!! error occurs at this line

    Once again apologies.

    Basically, it gores back to using a DSN instead of the more current OLEB
    provider as I recommended in my previous reply. STOP USING ODBC!

    Don't forget these articles as well since he seems to still need to use
    anything other then ODBC/DSN for his database connection.
