Default asp site as web browser

    Hi,

I wonder if anyone knows a VBScript that acts as a webbrowser? I am
behind a firewall and my local machine is not visible to the internet,
but I have a access to some webspace with asp VBScript. With the right
script I could tunnel pages and sites from my local machine through the
firewall. Is anyone aware of such a script / asp-web browser ?

    thanks,
    Oliver

Are you trying to get to sites or host sites? Maybe this'll help.

yup, that's what I was looking for or at least something like that.
Unfortunately, it is not working for me, I cannot access my local pages
with it. The reason why I like to do this, is that I have some php
scripts and my web account does not support php. The script (which is
work related) is to big to be converted easily to asp and I don't have
    time to do that now.

I have a nagging suspicion that if I knew what you were really trying to do,
I could explain why it's not possible. Like, it sounds like you're trying
to run php on a machine that doesn't have php installed, but you feel that
if you try to access the pages FROM a machine with php, it'll work or
    something.

This was my intension, since there is no good php2asp converter
available I though of accessing the the php pages via a kind of proxy
(written in vbscript). But I realise now that this is everything but
simple and I am probably better of rewritting my php code into asp.

    thank you fur your help
