On Windows 2003, the behavior is slightly different. There is ASPNET user
account but this is not the default context for ASP.Net. It uses Network
Service account. As you must have figured out by now, ASP.Net is not enabled
by default. You will have to enable it from IIS. And most important, DC is
not recommended to be used as web server. So you will have to make
modifications to machine.config file. in <processModel> you will have to use
an account that has logon locally previlege. Chaging it to "SYSTEM" will
work but not recommended due to security issues.
