    Default Assertation Failed??

I've been changing a psd file but now when I try to save as web page I get
    the following message..

"could not complete this operation because an assertion has failed"

I couldn't find much about this beyond that the file may be corrupt or not
in RGB format but this seems to apply to all my files.

I have tried reinstalling the program but the message still occurs..

    Has anybody got any suggestions??

    Derek
