attaching text to the inside of a circular path

I am able to attach text to a circular path, but it attaches to the top of
the outside of the circle. Is there a way to attach it so it goes along the
bottom, inside the circle (if that makes any sense).

It involves drawing an ellipse, cutting that in half and rotating it.
Then attach the text to path.
