ATTN: FORM CREATORS (6'S & 10'S)
I would like to know if anyone knows how to setup up forms using 6's & 10's.
My manager works in F3 prodesigner, and uses the method to setup every layout.
Please let me know the procedure to set it up in freehand.
6's = 6 lines per inch , which go vertical down the page.
10's = lines hoizontal across the page.
If this is not a possibility, is their an alternative to setting up a template
that is still efficient.
Thank you for your time,

Re: ATTN: FORM CREATORS (6'S & 10'S)
Draw a line vertically on the left at the margin you want.
Clone it and move it to the right side of the page.
With both sides selected make a Blend.
Set the steps to get the number of vertical lines you want.
With all the lines selected, click on the GUIDES layer. This make
all the lines into guides.
Do the same for the horizontal lines.

Re: ATTN: FORM CREATORS (6'S & 10'S)
Illy,
Freehand is a great choice when it comes to drawing business forms and flexo
labels. I pull guides to frame my form using Picas (6's) and Decimal inches
(10's). I actually got one of my wishes granted in Mx with individual round
corners which make it very convenient.

Alright, guess my manager did not know the name for the 6's & 10's.
When I mentioned that there are 6 picas to an inch he realized it was the same
thing.
I understand you can use the blend tool.
However I would like to know if you have a template set up everytime you
create a fee slip.
If so, how do you set it up using certain measurements.
Thank you!
