I'm working on an open source project that needs to redirect the audio
generated from the Flash Player on Linux. In order to accomplish this
I need to understand how Flash Player on Linux uses audio. In
particular I'd like to know if Flash player writes to the audio device
itself, or if it uses a third party (browser, etc.) program to
accomplish this.

I've been trying to locate the source code for the player to see
exactly what they are doing, but I'm running into some problems
accomplishing this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
