You are ... there is the "judges decision" (prize awarded) and the "peoples
choice" section that is judged by those who choose to vote...

You get to choose the winner of the judges section (i'll be in contact
    shortly)

    Um,

The indicative results page show the comp. as being subject "Night" :)
Why is everyone so off topic? :P

    LOL!

I also find the strawberries shot voting a little strange...

In fact, considering you are offering prizes, have you considered putting in
some more restrictive voting procedures? The fact the strawberry photo is
topping all categories is pretty interesting...

Maybe on the next competition you should require something simple like a
name, contact number and email be submitted with every vote...this would go
a long way to verifying the authenticity of each vote. It wouldn't really
matter if it was public or not just as long as you could check it.

The prize is given to the picture chosen by the appointed judge (in this
instance it will be "Woodsie"). His decision will be based upon what he
feels is the best picture and have nothing to do with the peoples choice
which is simply an opinion of our peers. There is no prize in those
categories as they are open to manipulation although i'd hope that we were
all adults and that wouldn't occur.

Having said that, I assume your glad i'm not the judge because I really like
that picture .. (although there are others I like also) :o)

A worthwhile consideration, but as I log all IP addresses I can assure you
that multiple votes are not counted and generally the higher voting pictures
are getting votes from distinctly different IP ranges.

I count the peoples choice as a bit of fun and the judges section as the
    serious side of the business.

Mind you, now we've probably tainted our judge >:-( ... this is
also why I tend not to voice an opinion on any of the pictures until after
the judge has made his/her decision. I like to see how close I get to
    picking the winning picture :o)
