Auto incrementing document revision
Hello,
I have been asked to replicate a feature of Microsoft Word in an InDesign CS document. You can insert an auto updating text field that contains a number this simply increments each time the file is saved. In Word it is called a revision number.
Does anyone know how I would do this in InDesign CS?
Thanks,
Andrew

Cannot think of anyway in the normal features, but someone may possibly be able to script it.

I don't use it, but isn't that something that VersionCue does?

It would be able, but the script has to be called manually each time,
because you can't hook scripts to certain events like saving via the
scripting interface, this should only be possible with the plugin interface.
