Auto Page Numbers
I have looked through this forum and not found the answer to this...
I am using auto page numbers, but my foolish customer wants to have a left facing page as his page 1, resulting in a non-standard numbering scheme. I was always taught that a right facing page is ALWAYS an odd number. Can I over-ride this feature in ID?
Cheers

Re: Auto Page Numbers
You have to mess around with the Allow Pages to Shuffle/Keep Spread Together settings. It can be done, but the resulting documents can be a bit harder to work with (for example, autoflow might decided to add pages to your last spread instead of making new spreads).

Cheers Dave.
I sorta thought it could be done, with consequences!
Thanks anyway.

Well, I did it, and seems to be stable! I dont think I will be adding pages so my customer (albeit silly) will be happy.
