    Does anyone know the shortcut keys to turn the auto select layer tool on/off? (not in keyboard shortcuts)

    While the Move tool is active, UNcheck the "Auto Select Layer" box in the Options bar.

    There isn't one and, because it's not a Menu item, you can't make an Action.

    Command+Control is what I use; never bothered with the auto-select option. No need for it!

    Ctrl+Click does not toggle the option but it does allow you to move things around as if auto-select was turned off.

    The correct button on PC is Alt-GR + click.
