Auto size frameless pop up for gall

Hi, I am creating a very simple gallery.

I currently have a section of a page that has a table in it, each cell has a
thumbnail in it. All I am after doing is setting a function or using some kind
of script so that I can easily add links to these thumbnails that open up the
corresponding larger images into a framless window.

Also with these images being varied in size I would like the frameless pop up
window to automatically resize to fit the picture.

I have and still am rooting the web for the answer, if anyone can direct me to
or give me the answer that would be great.
