    Default autocomplete

In ASP I used to be able to prevent Windows autocompleting text boxes by
setting autocomplete="off" on the text box. How do I do this in
    ASP.NET?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Mike

Sorry ... silly me ... the up/down arrow remembers past commands in the
command prompt window. Old age creeping up.

    Default autocomplete

Has anyone used or seen a good autocomplete in a web page?

Obviously there are logical limits because of the client & server processing
separation, but it seems like there might be a way to fake it. I'm not
exactly a guru and am just fishing for thoughts & guidelines...

The project I *really need this for will be on an intranet, so that opens up
    a few possibilities.

Two ideas which come to my mind:
    - you might be able to do it with some javascript.
    - you might want to use flash.
I think it's not a php matter at all, since it'd be mostly if not
    completely client side.
    Regards and good luck,
