Re: autofill name of file under Document Properties in Acrobat
Did you guys ever find a way to do this?
I have a very difficult client who changes our PDF file names, then month later sends the PDF (with revised name) back with revisions to be made, but we have no way to reference which file the PDF was created from (as they've changed the name of the PDF).
If there was a way to auto-fill the filename into the File menu > Document Properties > Description > Title, this would totally solve our problem!
Regards,
Kristin.

Re: autofill name of file under Document Properties in Acrobat
Kristin,
If you goto File menu-> Document Properties -> Custom
You can have a field which says Real Title (Title is reserved for some
reason) and you can enter whatever information you want. However, the
kicker is that you want it to be automated. That I don't know how to do :-(
Tell Joe down the hall, that it is his job to fill it in before emailing
to the troublesome client. If I don't have to do it, then its automated
as far as I'm concerned <g, r, & d>
