automate dialup web authentication?
I'm using a local dial-in of an lSP, IG ([url]http://www.ig.com.br[/url]), to dial
up to the Internet in Brazil using Mac OS X 10.2.6. One has to register
with IG and gets assigned a user name and password.
That data I use for the PPP dialin. It seems however that one can
communicate with the Internet only after one has once more authenticated
oneself on the ISP's web page usng a browser. Could that be automated?
IG wants to persuade its users to use a dialer, but that software is for
MS Windows only, and besides who would really want to install such
software on one's system, not knowing what else it might do...
