    You can drag multiple Word documents either from the Finder or from Bridge onto an InDesign page. It's not pretty. They'll be stacked and only slightly offset, but it might work if you had smaller fragments of text, each in its own file. Also, you won't get any Import Options choice that way.

    I wonder if there's a quick way to combine all the word files into one and then just import that one document into InDesign?

    You might ask on the Microsoft forums. It's a Word issue, not an InDesign issue.
