Automated text import in QuarkXPress 4.1 in Windows - Mac Applications & Software

I want to write a script that can check the name of each text box in a QuarkXPress 4.1 file, and import an appropriate text into the current box. Doing this manually would take too much time since there are ten text boxes on each page in a 200 pages doent. I hope this can be done without buying an Xtension for QXP. This must be integrated in a program that runs on W2k platform. Does anyone know a scripting interface to use for QuarkXPress on PC? Can this be done with e.g. Perl, Java or Visual C/C++ or can ...

Another possibility is perhaps to transform the content of the
textfile into XML and thereafter use a standard XMLpr to read the
info into QXP. But still there have to be a certain amount of logic to
control that the text will be imported into the appropriate text
    boxes.

    Any suggestions?
