Automatically highlight text in a text field using a button?
Is there anyway of automatically highlighting (select) all the text in a particular text field, say when pressing a button?
If anyone can help?

With a textfield called test.
Selection.setFocus("_root.test");
Selection.setSelection(0, _root.test.text.length);
this selects all the text in that textfield. You'll find more info by looking up the Selection feature in the AS Ref.
