automatically sizing browser windows
does anyone know how to set up a webpage so that it fits onto different sized
computer screens? I am designing my site so that you don't ever have to scroll
the page. When I open the site on other computers, however, the site is way
too big to fit on the screen. any ideas?

Re: automatically sizing browser windows
use this to resize your window:
<script type="text/javascript">
resizeTo(x,y);
</script>
and to remove scrollbars:
<style type="text/css">
body { overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden; }
</style>
i use this method and it works great.

Re: automatically sizing browser windows
fmeenz,
Can I use the same script to open a browser window to 100% of the screen? I
have a client that wants his site to fill the screen both up and down. If this
script will work, what would I ad to it to make it work?
Thanks for any help.

Re: automatically sizing browser windows
Think carefully about doing this. Many people will leave such a site
immediately. You change my browser settings when I enter, and you do not
change them back when I leave. This is often regarded as rude behavior.
