    I just installed Automatix myself, it is probably the simplest way to
    install all those extras. There is a mistake on the homepage about
    running it though. If you type 'Automatix' you'll get a permission
    denied error. It should be 'sudo Automatix'

    Umm, I also notice that it makes an entry in your menu under 'System Tools'
    but clicking on it is going to throw up the same 'permission denied' error.
    I fixed it by opening the menu editor, locating the Automatix entry and
    changing:

    /usr/bin/Automatix

    to

    sudo /usr/bin/Automatix

    And put a check mark in the 'Open in Terminal' box. That way you'll get a
    prompt for your sudo password.
