Available mailservers for OpenServer 5.0.5? - SCO

Hi! I was just thinking about installing an mailserver (sendmail, postfix, exim, qmail) on our OS system - just to send several status emails to our admin group, and uuencode is not realy handy for some reasons (I was told). Well, I'm not that experienced with OS at all (but I still got several things working), and so I won't compile any software by hand. I checked http://www.sco.com/skunkware/ for ready-to-use VOLs, but there aren't any. Does anybody know if there are VOLs packages available? Thanks in advance! c y Torsten...

A normal install of OSR505 Enterprise includes the MMDF mailserver (i.e.
MTA). I'd use that.

| Ah ... fine!
| I didn't know that ... will tell my collegues to check if its
| installed, if not, they'd do so.

If they don't like MMFD, they can de-install it and get Sendmail from
the base CD instead.

Have you checked by the way, if the default installation hasn't already
piled up mail in several /usr/spool/mail/* mailb oxes?
