Any ideas on a good printer to produce Black and White prints without any
    color bleed through.

Care to explain what "color bleedthrough" means? If it's what I think it
means, you want a laser printer (good for 256 shades of gray); or an inkjet
that does not combine the three colors to get "composite black."
Are you scanning b&w prints or negs, or converting color images to b&w?
If you're starting with b&w and picking up color on printouts, you need a
    new printer.
If you're decolorizing color images, your software may be creating
    artifacts.

    inkjet

Or you may just need to set the printer to print in the greyscale mode.

In general, inkjet printers do a poor job with black and white. I got a
HP7960 recently which does a passable job. It uses a special 3 ink
cartridge for blacks. I have seen excellent prints from other machines
which used 4 black inks and special software. Ordinary color inks or one
and two black ink machines just do not work for black and white.
