    Default Background colour

I have created a html doc with several pages, set background colour to red in
    page properties, no background image.
when I click on the buttons to navigate between pages, I get a very quick
flash of a blank white page! Its very quick, split second, but I don't like it,
it looks messy, is there any way around this, or am I doing something wrong?

    Any help much appreciated.
    Thanks
