    Default Background of "None"

I have made some images in Photoshop that I want to pull into Illustrator documents. When I do so, the background (which extends three fold around the image) is the default white which then covers up areas when I put it on top or next to other images in Illustrator. Anybody know how to make the background "None"

    Thanks.

    Dear Gordon Anderson,

The best way is to creat a clipping path and save the fie in EPS format.

The beauty of my way is you can add drop shadows and other effects in PS, which are definetely better than the same effects in Illustrator when printing.

The other method is to create a selection around the objects, use create work path and then export paths to Illustrator.
