You can only have one background image for the page.
I suggest you put a table with two rows for top and main content
respectively, and a custom CSS style with background image for each
    row/cell.

Might cause probs with NN4.x, though...

    Default Backgrounds

I have a .gif image of a dragon but it has a white background but I want to put it on top of another image without the white background and use just the actual picture of the dragon. How can I do this?

    Default Re: Backgrounds

I tried this and a lot of the white background dissappeared but there was still a lot of white surronding the dragon. How do I get rid of this remaining white part that is around the dragon?

Try playing around with the magic wand tool's tolerance settings, you can
see this in the property inspector (for MX). Increasing the tolerance means
it will include more colors to be removed. There may be colors in the image
that appear white, but if you would zoom in probably you can see that they
are slightly darker. So increase the settings untill it removes all the
white but none of the colors of the dragon. Also try increasing the
magnification to see the colors better.
If that does not work, you can try using the polygon lasso tool. Increase
magnification, click along the outline of the dragon with the lasso tool -
this will select all the pixels of the dragon - then Select/Select Inverse -
this will select all the pixels outside the dragon. Now click on the arrow
tools and you can move to selected pixels away from the dragon, hit delete.
