Backup Printer Server
I have one of my servers performing the print server
role. I would like to setup an additional server to act
as a backup printer server in the event that this server
is out of commission. Can this be accomplished and what
are the ramifications.

Well, you can set up as many print servers as you want, but clients still
have to select the backup printer. I don't know of any easy way to
automatically redirect print jobs in the event of server failure. However,
if the concern is failure of the print device as dintinguished from the
print server, you can use printer pooling for automatic failover. You use
identical printers and drivers managed by a single print server. See:
