Baseline Grids CS Tutorial
I am fairy new to InDesign CS.
Does anyone know of a really good tutorial for base line grids. I am still lost on how to line up the bottom of text frames, most publications I read have columns that line up a dream, mine never do, and if by chance they do, I usually end up with an orphan line in the next column. I spend an age playing with the leading space, font size and text frame size I have tried to get my head around the baseline grid, but it drives me crackers.
The publication I create has pages with different fonts, and font sizes, it seems to me a baseline grid is just for a publication with consistant font size. Is this the case?
Cheers
Julie

Re: Baseline Grids CS Tutorial
The baseline grid is for documents such as newsletters that have columns
of text you want to line up. That doesn't mean that the colums will all
end at the bottom of text frame.
IME, it should only be used for the body text in the document. For best
results, set the grid to the same size as the leading in the body text.
If it's set to anything else, you'll wind up with a mess.
Try googling it for more info.
