Basic Adjustments Don't Work
After installing Photoshop 7 upgrade, I can't seem to make some of the more basic corrections. After opening an image and going to image>adjustments>brightness/contrast or image>adjustments>color balance
for example
nothing happens!
Well, I shouldn't say nothing happens... on the bottom of screen a message says to click image to choose new color. When I move cursor to image cursor changes and color changes on the color picker. However, the dialog box with the sliders doesn't appear. And I can't do anything. Anywhere I try to go I just get that dinging noise and eventually have to shut program down. I have tried to find answer to this by using a tutorial for Photoshop 7 and using photoshop help -- but I am getting nowhere.
Help?!
