Basic: DW MX navigation bars
I am trying to insert a navigation bar into a template I plan to use for the entire site. I am creating it inside an editable reqion, so when I create pages from this template I can modify the navigation bar on each page (to select the "show down image initially". The problem is that I cannot create a new page based off the template & edit the navigation bar to "show down image initially" for the rest of the pages. It tells me that I "Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or a translator. The change will be disguarded."
Please help me. All I want to do is create a navigation bar that will have an up & down state, (using images) & show the down state on the page you are currently on. I would also (I hope this is the way it works) like to use navigation bar setup, this way if I have to add or remove from the navigation bar I don't have to change every page.
Thank you if you answer this....I am for some reason struggling with this. Probably looking into it too deep....
