Default basic question/problem of copying and pasting all items of A5 on A4

Simple basic problem I know, but I can't seem to find any reference or successful experimentation.

I've got an A5 leaflet and want to print two up on an A4 sheet.

How do I flatten(?) all the elements and copy/paste it above(or below) on the same A4 sheet? "Select All" ? then what?

    Thanks in advance.

Then Copy/Paste. What else could you do.

Haven't you tried this before posting??????

It's a good idea to chase down the problem before posting or you could
find yourself on the receiving end of bile.

What else could I do"?" That IS the question.
Been chasing the problem. However, the pc I was borrowing at the time seems to have some irritating bugs, as I'm on another pc at the moment which seems to be working better.

"paste in place" wasn't working on the other pc. Plus, holding down the shift key while everything is selected and moving the whole lot didn't work properly as it would make yet another copy as well. Hmmm. Now it seems to be working.

Nothing I did was wrong. Just a fault in either the programme or the pc. Frustrating when you think it's something you did or didn't do.

I seem to have solved the problem by migrating to another pc and programme in another country. Ha ha ha.

    Thanks for your help.

It sounds like you should do a search of the forums using the word "booklet". If I understand you correctly, you are trying to manually impose a document into printer spreads. There's no need to do that because scripts exist to do it for you.

    Thanks Dave.
I'm still thinking in terms of the T-square, scale and mechanical "manually" (as you correctly identified it) paste up of finished art times of the dim and distant past. I still use the rapidiograph pen however. LOL

    Scripts here I come!

    cheers,
