Click the round arrow icon at top right of the Actions window. That is how you display the menu with the Batch command.
First you need to create the action:
open a file (any file)
start recording the action
do save as
close
stop recording the action.
Then you use the batch command to apply your actuion to the folder.
There appears to be a bug in that when the action tries to close the file (which was just saved), it asks you to confirm the save. So you have to click yes (or hit return) for each file saved. If you do a Save As then a Close manually, you are not prompted to confirm the save...
To ignore errors, have errors saved to a log file. This is set in the Batch window.
