bending objects with tiled fill?
Hi folks,
I would like to bend an object which has a tiled fill. The bending itself is not a problem but the fill doesn't follow the shape. I hoped the fill would behave like the skin of a snake, which is attached to the snake, no matter what bends it makes.
Is there any possibility to create this effect?
regards

Re: bending objects with tiled fill?
What Iıve done instead of using the tiled fill, is to clone the tile and
make enough copies to cover the area that I want to fill. Then I group it
and cut it to the copyboard. I place an envelope on the group and shape it
to the object that needs the fill. Then I cut the envelope/fill and paste it
inside the object.
You can see the finished version of what Iım talking about here:

Re:thanks...
Also try the attach blend to path option.
Depending on the graphic you are trying to tile, I find I have more control with blends.
Try different combinations of grouped objects or composite paths in your blend.
