Default Bizarre Link Problem when connecting with IE only (onPC's)

:confused;
This problem is drivin gme crazy- my links (in frames) have all been double
and triple checked-
whether linked to the "published" page I did in Contribute, or linked by
browsing to it, their are always a couple of pages that invariably cause a
pop-up window in IE (versions 6 & 7) that alert that a file x.htm is trying to
be *downloaded*!
These pages are no different form the others.
COde shows the URl's just like the others-
often, even in IE, if you click "cancel" the page pops up normally anyway.

This site is hosted on my homepage at .Mac- I have other sites there coded in
Contribute, and this has never happened.

The new site was coded using templates entirely in Contribute 4. Going back to
C3 and re-uploading the links by browsing makes absolutely no difference.

Of note, browsing on macs or PCs with Safari or Firefox has no issues
watsoever.

Can anyone help me with this so I can get rid of this annoying problem?

the address is:
http://homepage.mac.com/scottgerst/MaikWeidenbach/MaikWiedenbach-HomePage.htm

try clicking on the "programs" link ont he left.

compare that to "bio"-

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Scott
p.s.- are Mailforms available in Contribute?
I want to avoid spam from the "mailto" link.

First thing I noticed is that the link for programs is an absolute link while
the others are relative. I download your page and linked to locally on my test
server and didn't have any problems. I'd change the link to a relative one and
see what happens.

Good luck!

Unfortunately, the only reason it is an absolute link is that I recently tried
that to see if it solved the problem-
as you see- it didn't.

Th eproblem exists whether it is relative or absolute.

A programmer I work with has suggested I re-administer the site from a PC
using Contribute 4.0 in Windows and re-upload the page- just in case the mac
has attached a "string" of code that is fooling the pc's.

I will try that tonight.

Wish me luck, as I have absolutely no idea why this is happening- and I
consider it a bug, since none of my other pages do it.
